Saint Andrew's Day is a day of feast for a man named Saint Andrew. He was the patron saint of Scotland. St Andrew's Day is a national holiday in Scotland that takes place on November 30. It also marks the beginning of winter.
Every year in Shanghai, expats from all over the world will gather to celebrate St. Andrew’s Day. This year, the British Chamber of Commerce hosted the 15th St. Andrew’s Ball at Shanghai W Hotel. As the only local performer, iStage students were given the honor to perform 3 musical theatre songs: ”Naughty”, “Touch the Sky” and “Smile”, and accordion incorporating a bagpipe, whisky, kilt and traditional Scottish dance, the evening was delightful.
