Workshops

At iStage, we are committed to providing students with world-class musical theatre training. We regularly invite distinguished professors, directors, and professional performers from China and abroad to lead intensive masterclasses and workshops in vocal performance, acting, and dance. These programs offer students a rare opportunity to learn directly from industry experts and broaden their artistic vision.

Highlights from our past workshops include:

• 2019: A musical theatre masterclass with Sean Ryan, swing and dance captain of the Broadway global tour of RENT, and choreographer for its China tour;
• 2021: A masterclass with acclaimed musical theatre actor Junyu Guo;
• 2022: A masterclass with renowned musical theatre actor Songhao Zhu;
• 2022: A musical theatre masterclass with Gerry Tebbutt, West End director and Head of Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting, University of Surrey (UK).
