This week, the musical “AI Meets Musical Theatre”, brought to you by iStage and Fosfeen, is in full swing. This collaboration presents a tech-savvy musical theatre summer camp for students, where they have the opportunity to learn musical theatre with master directors from the U.S. and experiment with artificial intelligence tools to enhance their creative writing skills.
Preston Boydd, an esteemed instructor from the U.S., was born during the golden age of musical theatre (1940s-50s) and experienced Hollywood’s golden era. He has directed theatres in Washington State, Minnesota, and Maryland, and performed alongside star actors in studios in Los Angeles and New York. As a musician and educator with over 30 years of teaching experience, he brings invaluable insight to the camp.
